Natalia Dyer

Natalia Dyer is an actress best known for playing Nancy Wheeler on the hit Netflix series Stranger Things. Dyer began acting in community theater as a child and attended the Nashville School of the Arts, a performing arts high school in Tennessee. She later studied at New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study, focusing on her passion for the arts while balancing her growing career.

Dyer made her film debut in Hannah Montana: The Movie in 2009 and continued to book roles in independent films like The Greening of Whitney Brown (2011) and I Believe in Unicorns (2014). She rose to international prominence in 2016, when she was cast as Nancy Wheeler on Netflix’s Stranger Things, which quickly became a cultural phenomenon. The role earned her and the ensemble several nominations, including a Screen Actors Guild Award win for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.

In addition to Stranger Things, Dyer has appeared in various movies, including Velvet Buzzsaw (2019), After Darkness (2014), Tuscaloosa (2019) and Things Heard & Seen (2021). She has also been involved in a variety of indie projects and film festival selections, establishing a presence beyond mainstream television.

Dyer has been in a relationship with her Stranger Things co-star Charlie Heaton since 2016. The couple has kept their relationship largely private and are not married.
