
Sasha Alexander
Sasha Alexander (born Suzana Drobnjakovic) is a TV director and actress. Alexander spent her childhood in Los Angeles, where she first began acting in school productions. She graduated from the University of Southern California before moving to New York City to pursue acting.
The actress got her start performing in Shakespere theater productions before making her on screen debut in the film Twin Falls Idaho (1999). Later that year, Alexander landed the lead role of Jesse Presser on the TV drama Wasteland. In 2000, she joined the cast of the beloved teen drama Dawson’s Creek, and the role quickly propelled her to stardom.
Alexander went on to star in a number of film and TV projects, including Friends and Mission: Impossible III (2006) alongside Tom Cruise. From 2005 to 2015, she played a recurring role on CBS’s NCIS as Caitlin Todd. Shortly after, she landed the titular role on the crime drama Rizzoli & Isles. In 2023, she starred in the film Bleeding Love.
Alexander was briefly wed to Luka Pecel in 1999, but their marriage was later annulled. She went on to tie the knot with director Edoardo Ponti in 2007. The couple share daughter Lucia, born in 2006, and son Leonardo, born in 2010.
