Susan Lucci is a New York native who has been a fixture in Hollywood for over 50 years.
The actress is best known for playing Erica Kane on All My Children, a role she held from 1970 until the show came to an end in 2011. Lucci was famously nominated for 21 Daytime Emmy Awards for her work on the show, but only took home one award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series in 1999.
While a notable soap opera star, Lucci has also appeared in shows like Dallas, Hope & Faith, Hot in Cleveland, Deadly Affairs and Devious Maids, among others. Lucci released her memoir, All My Life: A Memoir, in 2011. Lucci is also a businesswoman, launching The Susan Lucci Collection with QVC in 2018.
She was married to husband Helmut Huber from 1969 until his death in 2022. The couple shared daughter Liza Huber (born in 1975) and son Andreas Huber (born in 1987).
