Tom Felton

Tom Felton is an actor known for his portrayal of Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter series.

The youngest of four brothers, Felton acted in several commercials before landing his first feature film role in 1997 with The Borrowers. After starring in a handful of movies (opposite the likes of Jodie Foster and Clive Owen), Felton landed his career-changing Harry Potter role in 2001. He starred in all eight films as the titular character’s bully until the franchise concluded in 2011.

Post-Potter, Felton appeared alongside James Franco and Freida Pinto in 2011’s Rise of the Planet of the Apes and starred in 2017’s Feed, written and produced by Troian Bellisario. He played Julian Albert The CW’s The Flash in 2016 and 2017 and starred in the sci-fi series Origin in 2018. His films include Netflix’s A Babysitter’s Guide to Monster Hunting (2020) and Some Other Woman (2023).

The actor published his memoir, Beyond the Wand: The Magic and Mayhem of Growing Up a Wizard, in October 2022. The book revealed he struggled with alcohol abuse and went to rehab twice.

Felton made his West End debut in 2:22 A Ghost Story in 2022. In 2025, Felton revealed his first Broadway role would be a familiar one — Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

While shooting the wizarding movies, Felton began dating actress Jade Olivia (who played his wife in the eighth and final Harry Potter film). They were together for about seven years until their 2016 breakup.
