Only Murders In The Building

Mystery comedy-drama show Only Murders in the Building premiered on Hulu in August 2021. The series followed the lives of three neighbors, played by Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez, who bond over their shared obsession with true crime — and even start their own podcast. When suspicious deaths in their New York City apartment shake up their seemingly idyllic world, they channel their passion into solving the mysteries themselves. The show quickly became a hit with season 5 expected to air 2025.

Along with being a fan favorite, OMITB has garnered critical acclaim, receiving nominations for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series in 2022 and 2023. Martin and Short have each earned individual nods for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series. Gomez received a 2025 Golden Globe nomination for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy.
