Alexa Ray Joel

Alexa Ray Joel, the daughter of Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley, followed in her father’s footsteps as a singer and songwriter.

Alexa released her first EP, Sketches, in August 2006. Some of her later singles include “For All My Days” in 2008, “Invisible” in 2009, “Beg You to Stay” in 2011, “Just the Way You Are” in 2013 and “Seven Years” in 2021.

She has performed with her father at many iconic venues, including Madison Square Garden, and Alexa has headlined her own sold-out residencies at Café Carlyle in New York City.

Alexa announced her engagement to restauranteur Ryan Gleason in 2018 after five years of dating. In March 2020, the singer shared that she was pressing pause on her wedding planning for the time being due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The pair celebrated their 12th anniversary together in January 2025.
