Alexis Denisof

Alexis Denisof is an American actor best known for his role as Wesley Wyndam-Pryce in Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1999) and spinoff Angel (1999–2004). He also had a recurring role as Sandy Rivers in the sitcom How I Met Your Mother (2006–2014), where he acted alongside his wife, actress Alyson Hannigan (whom he met on Buffy). Denisof’s other notable roles include The Other in Marvel’s The Avengers (2012) and Guardians of the Galaxy (2014). Denisof remains active in television, with roles in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (2019–2020) and Legacies (2019–2022).

Denisof married Hannigan in 2003 and they share two daughters, Satyana (born March 2009) and Keeva (born May 2012). The couple celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary in October 2023.
