Alicia Vikander

Alicia Vikander is an Oscar-winning actress. Vikander began acting at a young age and also studied dance throughout her childhood. Initially she wanted to pursue dance, but due to injuries, she later made the decision to pursue acting full time.

As a child, the actress first appeared in opera productions in Sweden, including The Sound of Music. She went on to land minor roles in a handful of Swedish TV shows and made her film debut in the 2010 drama Pure.

Her career began to pick up steam in 2014 after being cast in multiple highly acclaimed films, including Ex Machina (2014) and The Danish Girl (2015). The latter earned her an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress in 2016. She went on to land starring roles in movies such as The Light Between Oceans (2016), in which she acted alongside future spouse Michael Fassbender. Some of her later notable works include 2018’s Tomb Raider and The Green Light in which she costarred with Dev Patel.

She is featured in the 2025 Korean thriller Hope alongside Fassbender.

The actress began dating Fassbender in 2014, and the couple tied the knot in 2017. They welcomed their first son in 2021 and their second in 2024.
