Caitlin McHugh

Caitlin McHugh is an actress, model and writer best known for her roles in The Vampire Diaries and the romantic comedy film I Am Legend. McHugh spent her childhood in Altadena, California, where she attended Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy before enrolling at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, where she studied contemporary dance.

She began her career with small roles in film and television, including appearances in Blue Bloods (2008), Castle, Law & Order: SVU and The Vampire Diaries. McHugh also built a career in modeling, signing with Wilhelmina Models and working in national commercials. In 2017, she cowrote and starred in the romantic short film Ingenue-ish alongside her now-husband, John Stamos.

McHugh tied the knot with Stamos in 2018. The couple welcomed their son, Billy, later that year. She often collaborates with Stamos on charitable efforts while continuing her work in entertainment and modeling.
