Caroline Wozniacki is a Danish professional tennis player and commentator. Wozniacki grew up in Odense, Denmark, where she began playing tennis at a young age. She made her junior playing debut at age 13 and later made the decision to play tennis full time.

Wozniacki gained international attention as a junior and quickly rose through the Women’s Tennis Association rankings. She reached her first Grand Slam final at the US Open in 2009 and became world No. 1 in 2010, holding the top spot for 71 weeks. Known for her defensive playing style and consistency, she remained a top competitor for over a decade.

Her career highlights include winning 30 WTA singles titles and capturing her first and only Grand Slam title at the 2018 Australian Open. She announced her retirement in 2020 but returned to professional tennis in 2023, playing select tournaments including the US Open. She has also worked as a commentator and appeared in ESPN The Magazine’s Body Issue.

Wozniacki was previously engaged to golfer Rory McIlroy, but the pair ended their relationship in 2014. She married former NBA player David Lee in 2019. The couple share children Olivia, born in 2021, and James, born in 2022. In April 2025, she announced she was expecting her third child with Lee.
