Daphne Oz is an Emmy-winning TV host and the daughter of Dr. Oz and Lisa Oz. Daphne spent her childhood in New Jersey and graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University in 2008. She went on to study culinary arts at The National Gourmet Institute.

In 2006, the chef published a book titled The Dorm Room Diet, and she released her New York Times bestseller Relish: An Adventure in Food, Style, and Everyday Fun the following year.

Daphne was invited to be a host of ABC’s The Chew in 2011 and later began making appearances on shows such as Good Day L.A. and The View. She has also been featured as a judge on multiple cooking competition shows, including Chopped Junior and Cooks vs. Cons. In 2015, the host was awarded the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Informative Talk Show Host for her work on The Chew, which she exited in 2017.

In 2022, the multi-hyphenate joined MasterChef Junior as a judge alongside Gordon Ramsay and Aarón Sánchez. She began hosting her show The Good Dish that same year.

She wed to John Jovanovic in 2010, and the couple share four children: Philomena (born in 2014), Jovan (born in 2015), Domenica (born in 2017) and Giovanna (born in 2019).
