Daryl Hannah

Daryl Hannah is an American actress known for her roles in Splash, Blade Runner and the Kill Bill films. Born in Chicago, Hannah was raised in a creative household and developed an early interest in acting. She studied acting at the University of Southern California and also trained in ballet.

Hannah began her film career with roles in the late 1970s before gaining wider recognition in Blade Runner (1982). She achieved mainstream success starring opposite Tom Hanks in Splash (1984), which helped establish her as a leading actress in the 1980s. She continued to build her career with roles in films including Wall Street (1987) and later found renewed attention playing Elle Driver in Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill: Vol. 1 (2003) and Kill Bill: Vol. 2 (2004).

In addition to her film work, Hannah has appeared in various television projects, including Hawaii Five-0, Sense8 and The Now. Some of her later film work includes The Slider (2017), Papa (2018) and Buckle Up (2023).

Hannah married musician Neil Young in 2018. She was previously linked to John F. Kennedy Jr. and Jackson Browne.
