About
Debra Messing is best known for her role as Grace Adler on the popular sitcom Will & Grace. She also appeared on Fox’s Ned and Stacey, the miniseries The Starter Wife and in the NBC series The Mysteries of Laura. Messing has landed roles in films including The Mothman Prophecies (2002), The Wedding Date (2005), The Women (2008), Searching (2018) and 13: The Musical (2022).
Messing met writer and actor Daniel Zelman while studying at New York University. The two married in 2000, welcoming son Roman in 2004. The pair announced their split in 2011, one year before Messing filed for divorce. Their split was finalized in 2016. Messing dated Smash costar Will Chase from 2011 to 2014.
