
Devon Aoki
Devon Aoki is a model and actress best known for her early dominance in high fashion and her roles in early-2000s action films. Devon was born in New York City to restaurateur and entrepreneur Rocky Aoki and is the half-sister of DJ Steve Aoki. She grew up primarily in California and entered the modeling world after being discovered at age 13.
Devon’s career took off quickly in the late 1990s. At 16, Aoki replaced Naomi Campbell as the face of Versace, instantly becoming one of the most in-demand models of her generation. She went on to walk runways for major fashion houses and appear in campaigns for brands including Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent and Hugo Boss, establishing herself as a standout presence during the height of the era’s supermodel culture.
Devon transitioned into acting in the early 2000s. Her film credits include 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003), Sin City (2005), DOA: Dead or Alive (2006) and Mutant Chronicles (2008).
Devon married businessman James Bailey in 2011. The couple share four children: Hunter (born in 2011), Alessandra (born in 2013), Eleanor (born in 2015) and Evelyn (born in 2020).
