
Flo Rida
Flo Rida (born Tramar Lacel Dillard) is a Grammy-nominated rapper, singer and songwriter best known for his chart-topping hits like “Low,” “Right Round” and “My House.” Flo Rida was born in Carol City, Florida. He grew up in a musical environment before attending the University of Nevada, Las Vegas for a brief period. He later returned to Florida to pursue a career in music.
Flo Rida began his early career writing and performing for local artists in Florida. His rise to fame came in 2007, with the release of Mail on Sunday featuring the breakout single “Low” with T-Pain, which topped the Billboard Hot 100 for several weeks.
He went on to release several albums including R.O.O.T.S. (2009), Only One Flo (Part 1) (2010) and Wild Ones (2012), producing numerous multi-platinum singles. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with artists such as Olly Murs, Jason Derulo and Walker Hayes. He has been nominated for multiple Grammy Awards and earned his first nomination in 2008 for Best Rap Song with “Low.”
Flo Rida has maintained a private personal life. He previously dated Alexis Adams, with whom he shares son Zohar Dillard (born in 2016).
