About

Gracie Abrams is a musician born to filmmaker J.J Abrams and director Katie McGrath. She developed an interest in music from a young age and attended Barnard College for one year before dropping out in 2019 to focus on a career in music.

Abrams signed to Interscope Records and released her debut EP Minor in 2020. She quickly built an audience on social media thanks to her indie-pop sound and emotional lyricism. Following her first full-length album, Good Riddance, in 2023, she released her sophomore album, The Secrets of Us, in 2024. The album featured Taylor Swift, who Abrams opened for during The Eras Tour. Abrams has also toured with Olivia Rodrigo and embarked on several headliner tours of her own, all to promote various releases.

Abrams’s single “That’s So True” charted at number two on the Billboard 200 in the US, earning her her first Top 10 entry. Her music has become a staple across social media platforms, including TikTok, and has earned her two Grammy nominations, including a nomination for Best New Artist.

Abrams was in an on-and-off relationship with producer Blake Slatkin for five years before the couple split in 2022. She was first romantically linked to actor Paul Mescal in June 2024.
