Joe Alwyn
Joseph Alwyn was born on February 21, 1991, and raised in North London. The actor’s breakout role was the titular character in the 2016 film Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk. He went on to appear in critically acclaimed movies, including The Favourite and Boy Erased.
The Mary Queen of Scots star made headlines in May 2017 when his relationship with Taylor Swift became public knowledge. Alwyn joined the pop star on her Reputation Stadium Tour in 2018, while the singer supported her then-boyfriend at his movie premieres.
The couple kept their romance relatively quiet. Alwyn, for his part, opened up about Swift for the first time in September 2018, telling British Vogue that the pair “have been successfully very private.”
Us Weekly exclusively reported in December 2018 that Swift believed the British actor is “her dream guy.”
The twosome collaborated on a handful of songs — including Folklore‘s “Exile” and Midnights‘ “Sweet Nothing” — before Us confirmed their breakup in April 2023.
