Justin Hartley

Justin Hartley is an actor best known for playing Kevin Pearson on This Is Us and Colter Shaw on Tracker. Hartley was raised in Orland Park, Illinois, alongside his three siblings. He attended Carl Sandburg High School before studying history and theater at Southern Illinois University and the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Hartley began his acting career in 2002 as Fox Crane on the NBC daytime soap Passions, a role he played through 2006. He gained wider recognition after joining Smallville as Oliver Queen, a.k.a. Green Arrow, in 2006 and becoming a series regular in 2008. He later appeared in shows like Emily Owens M.D., Revenge and Mistresses before taking over the role of Adam Newman on The Young and the Restless in 2014. His performance earned him a Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series.

In 2016, Hartley landed his breakout role as Kevin Pearson on This Is Us. He and the cast won two Screen Actors Guild Awards for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series, while Hartley received three Critics Choice Award nominations for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. His film credits include A Bad Moms Christmas (2017), Little (2019), Jexi (2019), The Hunt (2020) and The Noel Diary (2022). In 2024, he began starring as Colter Shaw on Tracker.

Hartley married his Passions costar Lindsay Korman in 2004. They welcomed daughter Isabella later that year before divorcing in 2012. Hartley then wed Chrishell Stause in 2017 but filed for divorce in 2019. Their divorce was finalized in 2021. Weeks later, he married The Young and the Restless costar Sofia Pernas, whom he had begun dating in 2020.
