Patricia Arquette

Patricia Arquette is an Academy Award-winning actress known for her work in Boyhood, Medium and CSI: Cyber. Patricia is the daughter of actor Lewis Arquette and the granddaughter of comedian Cliff Arquette. She grew up in Los Angeles and Virginia alongside her siblings, including actors David Arquette, Rosanna Arquette and Alexis Arquette, and began to focus on acting in her late teens.

Patricia first established herself on the big screen, making her film debut in A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors in 1987. She gained wider attention in the early 1990s with roles in True Romance (2003), Ed Wood (1994) and Flirting With Disaster (1996). Patricia began to move between independent films and mainstream projects, establishing herself as a versatile performer with performances in movies like Stigmata (1999), Human Nature (2001) and Holes (2003). In 2014, she starred in Boyhood as Olivia, which earned her an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.

On television, Patricia starred as psychic Allison Dubois on Medium, a role that won her a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. She later led CBS’ CSI: Cyber as Avery Ryan and appeared in projects including Escape at Dannemora and Severance. In 2025, she joined the cast of Murdaugh: Death in the Family as convicted murderer Alex Murdaugh’s late wife, Maggie.

Patricia was married to Nicolas Cage from 1995 to 2001 and Thomas Jane, with whom she shares daughter Harlow (born in 2003), from 2006 to 2011. She also shares a son, Enzo Rossi (born in 1989), with Paul Rossi.
