Rashida Jones

Rashida Jones is an actress, director and writer. The filmmaker, whose parents were legendary music producer Quincy Jones and model and actress Peggy Lipton, graduated from Harvard University in 1997, where she studied philosophy and religion.

Jones first gained recognition for her role as Karen Filippelli on The Office, followed by her role as Ann Perkins on Parks and Recreation. She has also starred in other films and television shows including Angie Tribeca, The Social Network and I Love You, Man.

Aside from her acting career, Jones is also a writer with a Black Mirror episode, The Other Black Girl and Toy Story 4 among her credits. She codirected the 2018 documentary Quincy, chronicling her father’s life and legacy.

Since 2016, Jones has been in a low-profile relationship with Vampire Weekend frontman Ezra Koenig. The couple welcomed their son, Isaiah, in August 2018.
