Raven-Symone

Raven-Symoné (born Raven-Symoné Christina Pearman) is an actress, singer and television personality best known for starring on That’s So Raven and as a cohost on The View. Raven-Symoné was raised in Ossining, New York. She began modeling as a toddler and signed with Ford Models at age 2. She briefly attended the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.

She made her television debut on A Different World before landing a recurring role on The Cosby Show as Olivia Kendall. From 2003 to 2007, she rose to teen stardom as the lead in Disney Channel’s That’s So Raven, which ran for four seasons and later led to the spinoff Raven’s Home. Throughout her career, she has also appeared on shows such as Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper, Empire and Black-ish. From 2012 to 2016, she joined The View as a cohost and, in 2024, she began hosting the game show Scrabble.

Her film credits include College Road Trip (2008), A Girl Like Grace (2015) and the Cheetah Girls franchise. She also launched a music career in 1993 with her debut album Here’s to New Dreams.

Raven-Symoné publicly came out as a lesbian in 2013 and tied the knot with social media manager Miranda Maday in 2020. They cohosted a podcast titled “Tea Time with Raven and Miranda.”
