Rosamund Pike is a Golden Globe-winning actress best known for her roles in Gone Girl, Pride and Prejudice and I Care a Lot. Pike is the only child of opera singers Julian Pike and Caroline Friend. She attended Badminton School in Bristol before studying English literature at Wadham College, Oxford, graduating with honors in 2001.

Pike began her acting career with minor television roles in the U.K. before landing her breakout role as Bond girl Miranda Frost in Die Another Day (2002). The part launched her film career and led to roles in The Libertine (2004), Pride and Prejudice (2007) and An Education (2009). In 2014, she starred as Amy Dunne in Gone Girl, earning an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress.

Some of the actress’ notable projects include A United Kingdom (2016), Radioactive (2019) and The Wheel of Time series on Amazon Prime. In 2020, Pike was awarded the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama for her role in I Care a Lot (2020).

In 2025, she starred in the psychological thriller Hallow Road.

Pike has been in a long-term relationship with businessman Robie Uniacke since 2009. They share two sons together: Solo (born in 2012) and Atom (born in 2014).
