About

Born in Colorado, Tim Allen got a degree from Western Michigan University before starting a career as a comedian in the ’70s. Allen expanded into acting with roles such as Tim “The Toolman” Taylor on ABC’s Home Improvement, which scored him a Golden Globe Award. Allen has also starred on Last Man Standing and Shifting Gears.

On the big screen, Allen has voiced Buzz Lightyear for the Toy Story franchise and brought Santa Claus to life in The Santa Clause movies.

Allen was married to Laura Deibel from 1984 to 2003. Before their split, they welcomed daughter Katherine in 1989. The actor found love again with Jane Hajduk and they got married in 2006 after several years of dating. Their daughter, Elizabeth, was born in 2009.
