Vanessa Marcil

Vanessa Marcil is an American actress best known for her roles on General Hospital, Beverly Hills, 90210 and Las Vegas. Marcil spent her childhood in Indio, California, as the youngest of four children. She began acting in community theater as a child and attended College of the Desert, where she studied law before pursuing acting full-time. She later moved to Los Angeles and performed in theater productions including Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, which led to her being signed by an agent.

Marcil landed her breakthrough role as Brenda Barrett on General Hospital in 1992. Her performance earned three Daytime Emmy Award nominations and a win for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2003. She also received Soap Opera Digest Awards for her work on the show. In 1998, she joined Beverly Hills, 90210 as Gina Kincaid before moving to primetime television.

Marcil appeared in the 1996 film The Rock (1996) and later starred as casino host Sam Marquez on Las Vegas from 2003 to 2008. She also appeared in shows including Lipstick Jungle, Without a Trace and Hawaii Five-0.

Marcil was married to actor Corey Feldman from 1989 to 1993. She later dated her Beverly Hills, 90210 costar Brian Austin Green, and they welcomed son Kassius in 2002 before ending their relationship the following year. She went on to marry CSI: NY actor Carmine Giovinazzo in 2010, and they divorced in 2013. Marcil became engaged to California deputy sheriff MC Martin in 2015.
