Will Friedle

Will Friedle is an American actor and voice artist best known for his role as Eric Matthews on the ABC sitcom Boy Meets World. Friedle was born in Hartford, Connecticut, where was raised as the youngest of three boys. He began auditioning for acting roles as a teenager and later graduated from Avon High School in 1994 before pursuing acting full time.

Friedle began his career cohosting the Nickelodeon show Don’t Just Sit There! from 1988 to 1991. He landed his breakout role as Eric Matthews on Boy Meets World in 1993 and remained a principal cast member until its end in 2000.

After the series ended he transitioned into voice work, most notably as Terry McGinnis/Batman in Batman Beyond and Ron Stoppable in Kim Possible. He has lent his voice to numerous other animated and video game roles. Some of his later projects include the Guardians of the Galaxy animated series, Isla Monstro (2024) and Barbie Mysteries. He has also made an appearance on the “Pod Meets World Podcast” alongside his former Boy Meets World costars.

Friedle briefly dated actress Jennifer Love Hewitt in the late ‘90s. He tied the knot with Susan Martens in 2016. He is a stepfather to Susan’s daughter, Lexi.
