Zoey Deutch

Zoey Deutch is an actress and producer best known for her roles in Set It Up, The Politician and Not Okay. Zoey was born in Los Angeles to director Howard Deutch and actress Lea Thompson. She was raised in a showbiz family alongside her sister, Madelyn Deutch, and began taking acting classes at the age of 5. Deutch attended Oakwood School and studied at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, majoring in theater.

Zoey began her career in television on shows like NCIS and The Suite Life on Deck. She gained early recognition playing Maya Bennett on the Disney Channel series before landing a recurring role on Ringer opposite Sarah Michelle Gellar. Her breakout came with the 2014 film Vampire Academy, in which she played lead character Rose Hathaway.

Her film credits include Everybody Wants Some!! (2016), Why Him? (2016), Before I Fall (2017), Zombieland: Double Tap (2019) and Something from Tiffany’s (2022). She earned praise for her work in Netflix’s Set It Up and Hulu’s Not Okay (2022), which she also executive produced. In 2025, she starred in the dramedy Nouvelle Vague.

Deutch was previously in a long-term relationship with actor Avan Jogia from 2012 to 2017. In 2021, she entered a relationship with comedian Jimmy Tatro. The two announced their engagement in 2025.
