Bryan Cranston is best known for portraying Hal on Fox’s Malcolm in the Middle (2000 to 2006) and Walter White on AMC’s Breaking Bad (2008 to 2013) — the latter earning him four Emmys and a Golden Globe. He received an Oscar nomination for his leading role in Trumbo (2015). The actor also appeared in the films Saving Private Ryan (1998), Little Miss Sunshine (2006), Contagion (2011), Godzilla (2014) and Asteroid City (2023).

Cranston starred on the drama series Your Honor from 2020 to 2023 and voiced roles in the animated films Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted (2012), Kung Fu Panda 3 (2016), Isle of Dogs (2018) and Kung Fu Panda 4 (2024). He earned his first Tony Award for his portrayal of Lyndon B. Johnson in the Broadway production All the Way and his second after playing Howard Beale in Network. In July 2019, Cranston and Breaking Bad costar Aaron Paul teamed up on the mezcal brand Dos Hombres.

Cranston was previously married to writer Mickey Middleton from 1977 to 1982. He married actress Robin Dearden in 1989, and they welcomed daughter Taylor in February 1993.
