Born Anna Dasha Novotny, the country singer opted to go by her middle name professionally.
Dasha grew up in San Luis Obispo, California, and found a passion for music at an early age. When she was 5 years old, Dasha began performing in musical theater productions and dancing ballet and hip hop. By age 8, Dasha learned how to play guitar and won national poetry competitions in school. With the support of her father and brother, Dasha recorded her first song at 13 years old.

Dasha dropped her first full-length album Dirty Blonde in 2023 with Quadio Records. Later that year, Dasha transitioned into the country music genre and released the song “Austin.” The track went viral and she earned her first Billboard hit in 2024.
Following the success of “Austin,” Dasha signed with Warner Records and dropped her second full-length album, What Happens Now?.
