Eva Marcille

Eva Marcille (born Eva Pigford) is a model, actress and television personality best known for winning America’s Next Top Model and her role on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Marcille was born and raised in Los Angeles before attending Clark Atlanta University. She later left college after winning America’s Next Top Model in 2004 at age 19.

After her win, Marcille signed with Ford Models and appeared in campaigns for CoverGirl, DKNY and Samsung. She transitioned into acting in 2005, first appearing on Kevin Hill before landing guest roles on Smallville, Everybody Hates Chris and Tyler Perry’s House of Payne. From 2008 to 2009, she had a recurring role on The Young and the Restless as Tyra Hamilton. She returned to the spotlight in 2018 as a friend of the cast on The Real Housewives of Atlanta before becoming a full-time cast member in seasons 11 and 12. In 2021, she landed the lead role on the BET+ original series All the Queen’s Men.

Marcille was engaged to singer Lance Gross from 2008 to 2010. In 2018, she married attorney Michael Sterling. The couple share sons Michael Jr. (born in 2018) and Maverick (born in 2019). The two filed for divorce in 2023. She also shares daughter Marley Rae (born in 2014), with ex-boyfriend Kevin McCall.
