Henry Golding

Henry Golding is a Malaysian actor and television host. Golding moved to Surrey, England at age 8 and attended The Warwick School. After graduating, he worked part time as a hairdresser before moving to Kuala Lumpur at age 21 to pursue a career in media.

Golding began his career as a presenter on travel and lifestyle shows, including hosting The Travel Show on BBC. In 2017, he was selected to play the lead role in director Jon M. Chu’s Crazy Rich Asians (2018) alongside Constance Wu. His performance as Nick Young was highly acclaimed and helped launch him into international fame.

Following the success of Crazy Rich Asians, he starred opposite Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick in A Simple Favor (2018) and played the romantic lead in Last Christmas (2019) with Emilia Clarke. He later took on the title role in Snake Eyes (2021), a spin-off from the G.I. Joe franchise. He has also appeared in The Gentlemen (2019), Persuasion (2022) and Assassin Club (2023).

In 2025, he appeared in the dark comedy Another Simple Favor, going on to appear on Hulu’s Nine Perfect Strangers later that year.

The actor married TV presenter Liv Lo in 2016. The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Lyla, in 2021. They later welcomed daughter Florence in 2023.
