Kaitlin Olson grew up in Oregon before making her acting debut in 2000, three years after she graduated from the University of Oregon with a bachelor’s degree in theater arts.

Olson’s TV debut came on Curb Your Enthusiasm in 2000 with a recurring role as Becky, which she reprised for seven episodes until the show ended in 2020. The actress is best known for playing Deandra “Sweet Dee” Reynolds on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, a role she’s held since 2005.

Throughout her career, Olsen has nabbed several guest starring roles on other TV shows, including New Girl, Family Guy and Bob’s Burgers, among others. She starred Mackenzie “Mickey” Molng on the short-lived series The Mick, from 2017 to 2018. In 2021, Olson made her first appearance as DJ Vance in HBO’s Hacks, a role she’s continued to play. Currently, she stars as Morgan Gillory on ABC’s High Potential.

She and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia costar Rob McElhenney married in September 2008. They share sons Axel, born in September 2010, and Leo, born in April 2012.
