Melissa Rivers

Melissa Rivers was born to Joan Rivers and Edgar Rosenberg in January 1968. Melissa’s parents were together for 22 years until Joan requested a separation in 1987. Rosenberg died by suicide days later.

Melissa rose to stardom as one of the cohosts of E!’s fashion criticism show, Fashion Police, alongside her mom. Joan, who often shared controversial opinions, hosted the show from 2010 until her death in 2014. Joan died at the age of 81 following complications during an outpatient throat surgery.

Melissa and John Endicott tied the knot in 1998, adding son Edgar Cooper Endicott to their family two years later. The pair split in 2003. Melissa dated Jason Zimmerman and Mark Rousso before connecting with Steve Mitchel, with whom she got engaged to in 2023. They married in March 2025.
