Amanda Anka

Amanda Anka is an American actress and producer and the wife of actor Jason Bateman. She is the daughter of singer-songwriter Paul Anka and model Anne de Zogheb. Anka was born in New York City and was raised alongside her four sisters.

Anka began her acting career in the ’90s with roles in both film and television. She appeared in the 1992 film Buffy the Vampire Slayer and later starred in films such as Cityscrapes: Los Angeles (1996), The Method (1996) and Bad Words (2013). On television, she made guest appearances on shows such as Beverly Hills 90210, Bones and ER.

Anka expanded her work behind the camera in the 2010s. She served as a coproducer on the Apple TV+ series The Morning Show from 2019 to 2021.
The actress met actor Jason Bateman in 1988 when they were just teenagers, though they did not begin dating until years later. The twosome wed in 2001, and they share daughters Francesca (born in 2006) and Maple (born in 2012).
