
Jon Favreau
Jon Favreau is an American actor, director, producer and screenwriter known for his wide-ranging contributions to film and television.
He began his career with acting roles in films like Rudy (1993) and rose to fame by writing and starring in Swingers (1996). Favreau’s directorial work includes beloved films such as Elf (2003), the groundbreaking Iron Man (2008), which launched the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Disney’s live-action The Jungle Book (2016). He is also the creator and producer of the acclaimed Star Wars series The Mandalorian, which debuted in 2019.
Onscreen, Favreau has been seen as Happy Hogan in many Marvel films (including 2024’s Deadpool & Wolverine) and has played characters in The Wolf of Wall Street (2013) and Four Christmases (2008) as well as in several episodes of Friends (1997).
In his personal life, Favreau has been married to Joya Tillem since 2000, and they have three children together.
