Julia Louis Dreyfus

Julia Louis Dreyfus is an American actress and comedian, best known for her role as Elaine Benes on the hit TV show “Seinfeld.” She currently stars as Vice President Selina Meyer on the HBO series “Veep,” for which she has won multiple Emmy Awards.

Dreyfus was born on December 1, 1961, in New York City. She began acting in the 1980s, appearing in off-Broadway plays and later landing her breakout role as Elaine Benes on “Seinfeld.” The show ran for nine seasons and cemented Dreyfus’ status as a rising star.
