Elisabetta Canalis

Elisabetta Canalis is an Italian model, actress and television personality known for her work on Striscia la Notizia and her high-profile relationship with George Clooney. Born in Sardinia, Italy, Canalis studied foreign languages at the University of Milan but left before graduating to pursue a career in entertainment.

Canalis began her career as a showgirl on the Italian satirical news program Striscia la Notizia from 1999 to 2002, which launched her into the spotlight. She went on to appear in Italian TV shows including Carabinieri and Fratelli Benvenuti. Her fame extended internationally with appearances on Leverage and a brief stint on Dancing With the Stars in 2011.

She has appeared in several films including Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo (2005) and Virgin Territory (2007) and served as a cohost for the 2011 Sanremo Music Festival. Canalis also modeled for brands like Roberto Cavalli and graced the pages of Maxim and Vanity Fair. Canalis has also served as a goodwill ambassador for UNICEF Italy.

Canalis was previously engaged to Christian Vieri and was in a widely publicized relationship with Clooney from 2009 to 2011. She married orthopedic surgeon Brian Perri in 2014. The couple share one daughter, Skyler Eva (born in 2015). She confirmed their separation in 2023, and later moved on with kickboxer Georgian Cimpeanu.
